Kodakara money laundering case; BJP state leaders without question

Thrissur: BJP leaders did not appear for questioning in the Kodakara money laundering case. They informed the police that they could not attend today due to inconvenience. BJP state organising secretary M Ganesh and office secretary Girish were questioned at the Thrissur police club today.

Meanwhile, BJP Thrissur district general secretary KR Hari and Ayyanthol regional secretary G Kashinathan were questioned by the SIT in connection with the case. The probe team also asked district Treasurer Sujay Sena to appear for questioning, but he did not appear.

BJP state president K Surendran had reiterated that any attempt to link the BJP to the case would not succeed. Even if the head is turned upside down on this issue, the drama played by the police will not see results. Surendran said the entire money was transferred through a digital transaction. Surendran responded to reports that the BJP might launch an investigation into the case after more information came out about the case. There are indications that crores of rupees were laundered in Kodakara to the BJP’s election fund. But the leadership has completely denied this.
