Shiv Sena criticizes govt over Covid crisis The Shiv Sena has said that India is surviving the current crisis due to the policies of the Congress government and that the central government is not adequately defending the Covid crisis. The response came through an editorial in the party’s front page, Samna.
The system, built by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Manmohan Singh over the past 70 years, still keeps the country afloat. The Shiv Sena pointed out that self-reliant India needs to accept the help of smaller countries.
Smaller countries like Pakistan, Bhutan and Bangladesh are helping India as much as they can. However, the Shiv Sena has said that the government has not backed down from the construction of the new parliament building at a cost of Rs 20,000 crore.
Experts warn that the third wave of Covid will be stronger than the second wave. However, the Shiv Sena has accused the BJP government of focusing only on suppressing Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal.
